My Dad’s 50th Birthday was today!
& he doesn’t like chocolate, so I made a lemon cake (which tasted like super yummy lemon pound cake) with swiss meringue butter cream icing, and made a strawberry filling. It was sooooo delicious! The butter cream icing wasn’t my favorite, it tasted a lot like butter. I’m more of a cream cheese fan.
Anyways, The decorations are all made out of fondant. The big 5 0 is fondant as well as the little heart sprinkles i cut out. For the banner i just used two extra long wooden skewers and some green yarn, and cut out the paper diamonds and wrote happy birthday on them.
